Bio

Nan Li is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Economic History, School of Economics at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Professor Li was born in Heilongjiang Province, where he received his B.A in economics from the University of Heilongjiang in 2004. In 2008 and 2011, he obtained his M. Phil and Ph.D in social science (economics) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Professor Li has broad research interests. His research fields cover economic growth and development, cliometrics, economic analysis in history, and economic history of China.
